PORTOLAN's GDPdU Tool successfully tested by Audicon

In November 2009, Audicon GmbH, the exclusive distributor of IDEA, the official audit software of fiscal authorities, has successfully tested the GDPdU software tool DST from PORTOLAN.

The data pool including cross joins provided by PORTOLAN can be implemented properly in description standard according to the GDPdU ("Principles of Data Access and Verifiability of Digital Documents"). The data perfectly correspond to the recommended data construct.

In addition, we were very glad to hear Audicon's statement saying that PORTOLAN had been the first company for about 2 years whose GDPdU tool passed the examination at the first attempt.

By the way, DST can do more than 'just' retain digital documents:
