According to the organizer of the IT & Business 2009, which held its premiere in the new exhibition center in Stuttgart from October 6 to 8, 2010 , about 6.500 trade visitors from Southern Germany and from the neighboring countries France, Czech Republic and the Netherlands visited this trade fair. About 312 exhibitors from the IT industry presented their business software solutions for ERP and CRM as well as special applications such as DMS and configuration systems. In addition, IT-supported business processes, system integrations, IT infrastructure and IT services were offered. Two forums at the trade fair introduced and discussed numerous other products. One of the lectures with the topic"Tochtergesellschaften im zentralen Controllingkonzept (Subsidiaries in a central controlling concept)" had been contributed by PORTOLAN.

There was a massive demand at PORTOLAN's trade fair booth for efficient software solutions for finance and accounting as well as for ERP overall solutions. The marketing staff intensified existing business relations, got in contact with new prospective customers and suggested approaches to precise requirements.

"The majority of trade visitors expressed interest in the latest version 8.0 of our well-balanced accounting solution EVM, which is currently available in 28 country-specific versions on the IBM System i.  Many were also interested in solutions for planning and ensuring liquidity, such as our product LAP (Liquidity - Analysis - Planning)" says Mr. Joachim Nürk, General Manager at PORTOLAN. "Satisfied visitors of our trade fair booth and resulting follow-up appointments show that our 20 years of experience in this market definitively convinced our dialog partners."

 The next IT & Business Trade Fair will take place from October 26 to 28, 2010, at the same location (Neue Messe Stuttgart).
