The new business software solution SAP Business ByDesign is used at all 8 locations of the Uhle company group in order to control Financial Accounting, Controlling and Reporting. The system, which has been implemented by PORTOLAN ensures consolidating all financial data, enables an efficient accounts receivable management and provides an always current project controlling. Peter Uhle, General Manager of UHLE, particularly appreciates the ability to access all company data online by using mobile devices – mobile end devices, too.
The company UHLE Gerüstbau, situated in Neckarwestheim near Heilbronn, is trusting in the new business software solution SAP Business ByDesign to process Financial- and Asset Accounting, Project Controlling and Reporting at all 8 locations. The new system, which has been implemented by PORTOLAN ensures consolidating all financial data on a day-to-day basis in the control center and thus provides an efficient accounts receivable management and financial controlling. In addition, a customer management overall sales processes is provided.
For this purpose, the own order management system tailored to the needs of scaffolding has been integrated to the new financial accounting solution providing the sales figures of all subsidiaries on a day-to-day basis in the control center. Thus, it is no longer necessary to send invoices and project data via fax or post, all documents are available online in the system now.
Within this system, the construction managers of the subsidiaries as well as the head office staff are able to permanently access the current project controlling, – receiving always identical figures from all points of view. In addition, it is possible to gain deeper insight from all reports to single business transactions and to the original and scanned vouchers. Thus, time-wasting reconciliation operations between the head office and the subsidiaries are no longer necessary.
Now, after a short project execution period of only 3 months, the new system has gone live. Thanks to its intuitive structure, the users learned to operate the system in a short time during the project execution period via “learning-by-doing“ in collaboration with the PORTOLAN consultants.
