PORTOLAN is Master-Value-Added Reseller for SAP Business ByDesign
2012/01 Achieving the status of a „Master-Value-Added Reseller" (Master VAR) for SAP Business ByDesign and becoming member of the SAP Extended Business Program of SAP Deutschland AG & Co. KG strengthens the position of PORTOLAN Commerce Solutions GmbH in the rapidly growing market for On-Demand Business Software.
In coordination with SAP, PORTOLAN as Master VAR is authorized to build up, maintain and enhance an own partner network in the frame of the SAP Extended Business Program. This program allows companies which are developing, distributing and implementing software solutions within the SAP environment to work both more closely with the SAP partner network and with SAP.
"The appointment as „TOP-5-Partner 2011" is a proof of our competence in distributing and marketing SAP Business ByDesign in Germany. With the status Master VAR we are now able to further expand our team and activities", says Joachim Nürk, General Manager of PORTOLAN, being very pleased about the positive development of this business area. In addition to distribution- and service partners, it is planned that IT companies oriented to specific industries or providing additional technical expertise will also become part of the network to be able to offer all customers comprehensive services of the On-Demand business solution.
At present, the built-up of an active partner network is already under way. It guarantees quick success to new partners on winning satisfied customers as a result of trainings, presales support and common project presentation. In the past, the PORTOLAN Competence Group has been proofed to be a positive concept by establishing a network of experts in all areas in order to provide experience gained from successful projects to all partners of the network depending on their needs.
