AXIT AG considers that SAP Business ByDesign perfectly supplements its own Cloud Solution

AXIT stands for innovative IT logistics solutions. The company is leading in modern linking of all logistical partners along the supply chain. As a reliable strategic business partner and cloud computing supplier AXIT addresses companies which make high demands on their logistics IT, especially regarding data security, quality and reliability. It is since 1999 that with a staff of approx. 100 at the locations Frankenthal, Germany, and Wroclaw, Poland, AXIT has been standardizing and simplifying worldwide communication between all parties involved in supply chains and has been optimizing logistical processes for logistics providers as well as for companies from industry and trade.

In collaboration with the IT consulting division of TDS AG PORTOLAN introduced the complete software for Accounting, CRM and Project Management at AXIT and has gone live in January. With this step, redundant data previously maintained in different applications are now combined in one integrated ERP system setting up transparent data flows. Now, all processes starting from the sales process with marketing and campaign management for customer acquisition across project management and up to customer billing, reporting and controlling are integrated end to end in one data base which significantly facilitates cooperation between the different company departments.
